Hey y’all -
This blog is born out of dream chasing. Lately I have been feeling that chasing my dreams and chasing God is one in the same. God doesn’t promise to fulfill every dream, but I know that He is a good God who wants to give us our hearts’ desires.
I’m a Type 2 on the enneagram, but I didn’t need to know that to know that I love people, I always have. If you have learned anything about the enneagram, you know that your biggest gift is coincidentally your biggest curse. Helping people is the foundation of my core, and in helping others, I learned it starts with myself and and self-care. For me, sometimes self-care looks like going to a yoga class and other times it can look like staying in and reading a good book. I love entertaining and making myself and my friends laugh. During the day, I’m coaching and connecting people and on nights and weekends my love is getting to be the girl in the hipster coffee shop who writes. But right now, the hipster coffee shop looks more like a little nook in my house overlooking the Charlotte skyline, not bad #corona.
I love Jesus and believe with my whole heart and all my being that He is the love our world is looking for - whether we know it or not. My love for dark chocolate and dresses with pockets also runs as deep as my belief system. I live to love my people - my parents, siblings, niece and nephew, beloved friends who are my chosen family, and my sweet miley girl, the pup I adopted this past Christmas.
I’m gifted with creating ideas and events that bring people together by connecting them to a common passion. I believe in dreaming big, starting small, being faithful with little to one day being rewarded with much, much more. And most importantly, I believe in doing life with a few people who know you and love you really well, because those are the ones who will push you to be the best version of yourself - everyday.
